Doe Park Water Activities Centre
Bradford’s specialist centre for sailing and canoeing is situated at Doe Park reservoir, near Denholme village in the west of the district. It is easily accessible from Bradford and Keighley
Doe Park provides a variety of outdoor education and leisure courses. Activities on the water include sailing, canoeing, kayaking and raft-building. Outdoor Education programmes may also include pond dipping, nature trails, team building and initiative challenges. Doe Park has a team of instructors who lead and support your courses.
The full range of resources at Doe Park is also available to teachers and youth leaders who can be validated to lead their own activities.
Doe Park will provide appropriate training and ongoing support to aspiring leaders from Bradford schools and communities. Validated leaders will be supervised by the safety management arrangements at the centre.
