Skills for Life
Do you struggle with punctuation, writing letters, fractions or percentages?
In the Learning Zone you can do a short test to check whether you could do with a brush-up:
Initial assessment - numeracy – This should measure your
general mathematics skills, your ability to make
measurements and your space and shape recognition.
Initial assessment - literacy- This will measure your listening, reading and writing skills.
If, having done a test you find that you could do with a little help, staff can signpost you to courses in Bradford where you can gain a nationally recognised qualification. This can be useful if you are applying for a new job.
Drop in and see us for more information, or give us a call - we are here to help.
Telephone 01274 434870
Some of the courses above are also available in other libraries across the district.
