About Eccleshill Library

Event at Eccleshill LibraryThe property is owned by Bradford Metropolitan District Council and occupies a floor area of 497 square metres. It was opened in 1964 and it is the district's seventh busiest library.

The library is on the ground floor with public toilets and meeting room on the first floor. The library has grounds to three sides with a car park on the fourth side. The library was extensively refurbished in 1990 when the layout was altered so as to optimise floor space.

As well as over 21,000 books and free internet access, the library offers regular storytimes, taster sessions for IT learners, a reading group, and access to information throughout the district.
