About Bingley Library
This library was opened in 2009 as part of the new precinct development. It is well sited amongst shops and pedestrian traffic with good car parking facilities nearby.
The library contains the usual book and computer provision that you would expect in a library, as well as WiFi so customers can bring in their own laptops.
Newly integrated facilities include a flexible meeting room that can be used by community groups, a cafe area and self-service issue and returns machines. The neutral décor and the use of bright accent colours and fun furniture successfully create an environment unique to Bingley Library and takes library design to another level.
As well as over 21,000 books and free internet access, the library offers storytimes, taster sessions for IT learners, a good local history resource, and access to information throughout the district.
