Monumental Inscriptions
Copies of tombstone and monumental inscriptions, covering about 120 churches, chapels, graveyards and a few cemeteries in the Bradford area, were made by Mr Arthur Blackburn c1930, and are in the Reference Library on microfilm. Most individual volumes are indexed, and a cumulated index has been compiled. The library also has copies of a few other inscriptions. A list is available.
The burial registers 1854 to 1958 of Undercliffe Cemetery, a private cemetery in Bradford, have been indexed and can be consulted at West Yorkshire Archive Service : Bradford.
A name index is available on microfilm in the library.
