International Genealogical Index
- This is an index, (compiled by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or Mormons) on microfiche, which covers many baptisms and some marriages up to about the 1880s. Many of the entries are taken from published or microfilmed registers. The index is arranged by country, then by county, surname and Christian name.
- The entries for England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and the Channel Islands are in the Reference Library (1992 edition), Keighley Library (1988 edition) and Ilkley Library (1984 edition). Those for the rest of the world can be consulted at the Mormon Family History Centres at Huddersfield and Leeds.
