Live broadcasts from the Royal Opera House in London are amongst the exclusive programming that will be relayed live to the Big Screen in Centenary Square.
These open air events are absolutely free and the perfect way to introduce your friends and family to world-class opera. Come early to get a good spot and relax into the festival feel. With exclusive backstage films, competitions and live interaction these are the opera and ballet events of the summer.
Last Night of the Proms

The evening will begin at 7:00pm with live music from the Bradford Metropolitan Concert Band.
At 7:30pm the world – famous Last Night Of the Proms', an evening of music that unites the nation in song will be broadcast live from the Royal Albert Hall.

In Genoa lie dark family secrets. This rollercoaster tale takes you from the furious drama of the opening scene to the tender duet between Boccanegra and his daughter to the architectural grandeur of the Genoese Council Chambers ending in the despair of the final act. Join the world’s greatest operatic stars, Placido Domingo, Marina Poplavskaya, Joseph Calleja and Ferruccio Furlanetto, for an experience that will never leave you.
