If you have a tenant in your property that is over the age of 60 or has a child and claims certain benefits then your tenant may be able to claim a grant of up to £2,700 under the Warm Front Scheme, a Government grant-funded programme for tackling fuel poverty.

The Warm Front Grant provides a package of energy efficiency and heating measures up to the value of £2,700 (except where oil central heating is installed or repaired where a maximum grant of £4,000 is available). Provided that you agree to have these works done to your property, this can include the installation of gas central heating, cavity wall insulation and loft insulation up to a maximum value of £2,700, less the value of any works previously completed in the property under Warm Front since June 2000.
