Access to Housing

Access to Housing Overview
The Council no longer owns or manages any Council housing. Its stock was transferred to Incommunities.
As the local housing authority, Access to Housing carries out a strategic housing function, to ensure that the Council responds to national, regional and local housing priorities and that people have access to affordable housing opportunities.
The Council is still responsible for producing and promoting housing strategies to deliver decent affordable housing to meet the needs of Bradford’s residents. This entails identifying housing need in the district and working in partnership to maximise the supply of property and services to meet that need.
If you require housing advice, are homeless or threatened with homelessness, please telephone the Advice Team on 0845 141 6666 or see their further contact details in the Housing Advice and Homelessness section of the Incommunities website.
