The course will provide essential details of Mental Health Act amendments to all ASWs in order that they can practise as AMHPs from 3.11.08.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the responsibilities of Approved Mental Health Professionals under the amended Mental Health Act
- Familiarise ASWs with the key legislative changes
- Promote debate about good practice under the amended Act
