Swift Courses are delivered by the Care Records Support Team

Swift is the system we use to record details of our clients and the case work that goes on around them.

Swift is a comprehensive Social Care Database that records all the structured information[1] about our clients, such as name and address, details of the services being provided and about the teams or people providing that service.

1] Structured information is that which can be analysed and reported on (e.g. Date of Birth, Ethnicity)

Courses Open to all Social Care Staff

The following Swift courses are available for Adult Services staff working in the relevant teams. Please check with your manager before you apply for a course though to ensure that it is relevant

Swift Introduction - This is a pre-requisite for all the other courses

Participants will learn how to use the front desk module to view clients records, retrieve client information and understand contact, referral and involvement processes.

Swift - FrontDesk

How to use the FrontDesk module to:

• Create Contact, Referral and Involvements against client records

Swift – Assessment, Reviews & Case Management (Adults)

• Gain an overview of the Assessment Framework module
• Learn how to use the Assessment & Review modules
• Access Case Management & Work Lists

Swift – FrontDesk & Car Badge Registrations

• Gain an overview of the Car Badge Modules in Swift
• Learn how to register a client on the Car Badge Register
• Learn how to register an organisation on the Car Badge Register

Swift – Registers

• Gain an overview of all available Registers in Swift
• Learn how to access and view registration details on client records

Swift – OT Services

• Learn how to use the FrontDesk module to view client record details within Swift.
• Understand OT processes in Swift
• Maintain client services & provider details
