This one-day course will explore issues of around working with young people who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered or are Questioning their sexuality.

Aims and Objectives:

Understand the meaning of what Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered or Questioning .
Describe the discrimination that people who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered or Questioning face.
Understand the meaning of Homophobia, Heterosexism and Internalised Homophobia.
Know how to create a safe work space/Client space for young people/adults that identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered or Questioning.
Be more confident in Challenging Homophobic attitudes and/or behaviour.
