Learning Objectives:
- Working knowledge of the current civil and criminal processes relating to domestic abuse.
- Working knowledge of specialist support agencies available.
- Knowledge of how to complete the forms necessary to gain a court order.
- Recognise the advantages and disadvantages of using the civil and criminal system.
- Able to chose the most advantageous course of action for your client, using the legal remedies available to you.
