Disabilities - Autistic Spectrum Conditions (Children) - An Introduction (Cygnet Level 1)

This course aims to introduce Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) to staff who may be working either directly or indirectly with Children and Young People on the Autistic Spectrum.

Learning Objectives:

  • To gain an understanding of ASC's and how a child or young person on the autistic spectrum makes sense of the world.
  • To consider what staff can do within their own role to assist a young person with autism and their Family.
  • To identify ways that agencies can work together to support children and young people on the autistic spectrum.

Aimed At: This is a Bradford District wide Multi Agency Course for anyone working in Health, Services to Children and Young People, Education, Police, CAFCAS, Probation Services, Adult Services, Voluntary & Independant Sector.
