This course will provide participants with better understanding of depression in children and young people.

Learning Objectives:

To review the symptoms of depression and to consider how these symptoms present in children and young people.
To consider the risk factors for depression and to apply the above to relevant case scenarios.
To review the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) clinical guideline on depression in children and young people (September 2005).

Aimed At: This is a Bradford District wide Multi Agency Course for anyone working in Health, Services to Children and Young People, Education, Police, CAFCAS, Probation Services, Adult Services, Voluntary & Independent Sector.
