Depression In Children and Young People

This course will provide participants with better understanding of depression in children and young people.

Learning Objectives:

  • To review the symptoms of depression and to consider how these symptoms present in children and young people.
  • To consider the risk factors for depression and to apply the above to relevant case scenarios.
  • To review the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) clinical guideline on depression in children and young people (September 2005).

Aimed At: This is a Bradford District wide Multi Agency Course for anyone working in Health, Services to Children and Young People, Education, Police, CAFCAS, Probation Services, Adult Services, Voluntary & Independent Sector.
