CIS - Assessment Online Induction Tool
All Managers within Bradford Service to Children and Young People can now use this modular suite of assessments to enable you to quickly and easily assess new and existing workers knowledge against the Common Induction Standards. The assessments are simple, user friendly and available via the internet, all you need is a web browser*.
Each completed assessment generates a report that can be used for induction planning and training needs analysis. The reports provide managers with a wealth of information that will ensure an effective induction, including development required to meet the Common Induction Standards.
When Should The Tool Be Used?
The tool should be used as soon as a new worker is in post and before sending on any induction training.
Benefits Of Using CIS Assessment
- Saves manager time - pre-prepared questions based on national standards
- Saves worker time - don't waste time attending courses where they can evidence existing knowledge
- Fair and consistent process for all new starters
- Evidence - the reports generated provide evidence for supervision, appraisal, inspection, work-related qualifications and future learning and development priorities
