Children and Young People's Mental Health - An Introduction

This one day course aims to provide participants with an introduction to the mental health issues faced by children and young people.

Learning Objectives:

  • To consider what we mean by child adolescent mental health and to identify factors which protect and undermine good mental health.
  • To raise an awareness of mental health problems and mental health disorders and consider ways of promoting positive mental health and demystifying mental health difficulties.
  • To raise awareness regarding the importance of early attachment, explain CAMHS referral process and discuss ways of multi-agency working.

Aimed At: This is a Bradford District wide Multi Agency Course for anyone working in Health, Services to Children and Young People, Education, Police, CAFCAS, Probation Services, Adult Services, Voluntary & Independent Sector.
