Children and Young People's Mental Health - An Introduction

This one day course aims to provide participants with an introduction to the mental health issues faced by children and young people.

Learning Objectives:

To consider what we mean by child adolescent mental health and to identify factors which protect and undermine good mental health.
To raise an awareness of mental health problems and mental health disorders and consider ways of promoting positive mental health and demystifying mental health difficulties.
To raise awareness regarding the importance of early attachment, explain CAMHS referral process and discuss ways of multi-agency working.

Aimed At: This is a Bradford District wide Multi Agency Course for anyone working in Health, Services to Children and Young People, Education, Police, CAFCAS, Probation Services, Adult Services, Voluntary & Independent Sector.
