This course will provide an overview of issues facing bereaved children and to explore different ways of working with such children.

Learning Objectives:

Participants to be provided with an awareness of bereavement models and to develop an understanding of issues affecting bereaved children and their families
Participants to develop an understanding of the emotional impact of bereavement on children
Participants to identify ways of supporting children and young people in their grief

Aimed At: This is a Bradford District wide Multi Agency Course for anyone working in Health, Services to Children and Young People, Education, Police, CAFCAS, Probation Services, Adult Services, Voluntary & Independent Sector.
