Course Overview:

The Common Assessment Framework (CAF) is standardised way of assessing the needs of vulnerable children and young people and deciding how those needs should be met.

Audience:

This training is aimed at Managers who are new to managing the CAF process.

Learning Objectives:

This multi-agency training is aimed at managers in organisations who are new to managing the CAF process, and have responsibility for developing and embedding the CAF and integrated working into the business processes of their team or service area.

By the end of the course, you will:

• understand the national context for the CAF and Integrated Working;
• understand how the CAF and Integrated Working is being implemented in the Bradford District'
• understand your role as CAF and Integrated Working Manager
• have considered how the CAF and Integrated Working will be implemented in your team and service area;
• have a basic understanding of what the CAF is and how it should be used.

You must complete the CAF and Integrated Working - An Overview for Managers (e-learning module) before you can apply for a place on this course.

The e-learning module provides the underpinning knowledge required for completion of this training, therefore if you attend this training and have not completed the e-learning module, you will be asked to leave.

This training is free to managers working with children and young people in the Bradford District.
