Learning Objectives

Safeguarding procedures that apply specifically to Children's Social Care Staff.
What you must do and say if you have concerns about a child - and what other colleagues and agencies must do.
Understand your particular safeguarding roles and responsibilities within the Working Together guidelines if you regularly work with children/young people and parents/carers.
The procedures and responsibilities from initial investigation, through strategy discussions and strategy meetings, to child protection conference and registration.
