Aimed at: This course is only for workers in Bradford Children's Social Care Services and is not relevant to workers from other agencies.
Learning Objectives
- Safeguarding procedures that apply specifically to Children's Social Care Staff.
- What you must do and say if you have concerns about a child - and what other colleagues and agencies must do.
- Understand your particular safeguarding roles and responsibilities within the Working Together guidelines if you regularly work with children/young people and parents/carers.
- The procedures and responsibilities from initial investigation, through strategy discussions and strategy meetings, to child protection conference and registration.
