Overview To Sexual Health Work

Course Overview:
This course will equip those working with young people with an overview of what Sexual Health means, the Laws and Signposting young people.

Target Audience:
This course is for managers and front line workers, working with young people who have not undertaken any recent training in Sexual Health with young people and would benefit from gaining an overview.

Learning Objectives:
By the end of the course you will have:

  • Gained an understanding of what is meant by Sexual Health
  • Had an insight on the law relating to young people and sexual behaviour
  • Explored some of the issues affecting young people
  • Explored your own values, beliefs and attitudes and how these may impact on your work with young people
