MARAC Briefings
This is a 2 1/2 hour briefing, taking participants through the background and workings of MARAC process.
Aims of the session:
- raise awareness of MARAC's, their purpose and how they operate.
- increase understanding of the MARAC risk assessment tool.
- increase use of the MARAC risk assessment tool.
- increase multi-agency referrals to MARAC
Who is it for?
Any practitioner working with service users at risk of serious harm in a domestic relationship. Anyone who wants to encourage their team to work with MARAC, it is preferable if participants have already attended an awareness course in domestic abuse.
