IYSL - Tools for Challenging Homophobia and Young People (LGBT Resource Pack)
How to deliver the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) resource pack within a youth work setting. A practical toolkit to aid supporting LGBT youth work which can be used by itself or serve as a foundation resource to build upon.
Aimed at: Youth Workers within both statutory and voluntary sector organisations, Professionals within the Department of Children & Young People’s Services and Youth Work Practitioner.
Learning Objectives:
- Introduction and implementation of the LGBT Resource Pack
- Understanding the needs and youth work methods of engaging and working with LGBT young people
- Supporting service delivery of the four cornerstones of Youth Work, Every Child Matters Framework, the Youth Work Curriculum and the Children’s & Young People’s Plan
