Promoting play as a means of interactive engagement and informal learning with young people.
Aimed at: Youth Workers within both statutory and voluntary sector organisations, Professionals within the Department of Children & Young People’s Services
Learning Objectives: An introductory session exploring how play work methods and principles can be implemented within a youth work environment. Using practical examples from delivery of Play Local project to demonstrate theory and aid learning and highlight the benefits of play within an informal education setting.
