IYSL - Recycling with Young People
The course will provide participants with practical skills in engaging young people in recycling activities and projects within a youth work setting. Course participants will learn how to create items such as wallets, purses, jewellery and bags from recycled juice cartons. Participants are encouraged to bring recycled empty juice cartons to the training day. However, course trainer will bring enough for each delegate to make a wallet/purse each. This project is designed to inspire young people to be creative and develop an awareness to recycle and reuse rather than replace.
Aimed at: Staff employed by Bradford Children and Young People's Services, Voluntary sector and Youth Work Practitioners.
