IYSL - Certificate in Youth Work - NOCN Level 3
As the part time qualification in youth work this 22 week course seeks to prepare practitioners for part-time management of youth provision and looks at greater depth into youth work methods along with required skills, abilities and understandings (This is the highest pre-University qualification in Youth Work).

Aimed at: Senior members/volunteers of Youth Projects/Organisations, Youth Workers within both statutory and voluntary sector organisations, Professionals within the Department of Children & Young People’s Services
Pre-requisites:
- Successful completion of the Introduction to Youth Work Course - NOCN Level 2
- Age entry requirement to the course is 19+
- A current enhanced CRB check is mandatory
- It is an essential course requirement that you are working with young people aged 13-19 (up to 25 for disabled young people) or have a substantial placement in a youth work setting, for a minimum of 3 hours per week over a minimum 6 month period
