Hidden Harm – Parental Drug and Alcohol Misuse - e-Learning
Target Audience
This course is for those who work with children, young people and/or adults who are parents or carers.

- Awareness of the issues for children
- Recognising signs of harm
- Intervention and safeguarding children
Who provides this training?
This training is provided by the Bradford Safeguarding Children Board (BSCB)
How is this training delivered?
The training is delivered via an e-Learning package that has been developed by the BSCB in conjunction with the Safeguarding Children e-Academy.
Logins are created twice monthly whenever possible therefore it can take up to two weeks to received your log in. Please bear this in mind when requesting access.
The package will take approximately 2 hours to complete. Participants do not have to complete the package all at once; you can dip in and out of the module and the system will monitor your progress. Once fully completed take the knowledge test which will also be recorded by the database. The system will give you the option to print yourself a certificate and completion will be recorded in the Workforce Development Training Database.
Please note - You are given 1 month from receipt of log in details to complete the training, after this your line manager will be notified and you will be removed from the system.
We only allocate one package at a time so if you want to complete more than one please sign up for the next one after completion or e-mail rachael.hammond@bradford.gov.uk with the course you would like to do next and this will be added to your profile.
