Help With The Cost Of Childcare

The Childcare Element of Working Tax Credit and Childcare Vouchers are the key to making childcare affordable to parents and helping ensure the future sustainability of childcare. As such, the more people who can be made aware of this support and how it works, the better.

This workshop should help demystify this often complex subject and help you:

  • Understand Tax Credits;
  • Understand the criteria for claiming the childcare element of Working Tax Credit;
  • Understand how they are calculated and how to use the online tax credit calculator;
  • Understand the benefits to parents using employer-supported childcare (childcare vouchers);
  • Be able to advise parents and cascade to other colleagues

Aimed at: Childcare professionals including Childcare Managers and Staff, Parental Involvement Workers, Family Support Workers, Debt Advisers etc. Anyone in a position to inform working parents about the Childcare Element of Working Tax credits and Childcare Vouchers as support for paying for their registered Childcare
