An interactive course for participants who would like to know more about the principles and practice of Family Group Conferencing including-

Partnership working with children, parents, families and other agencies.
What is Family Group Conferencing?
Research, legislation and policy framework in relation to FGC's
Roles and responsibilities of attendees
The use of advocates
Safe planning for children and young people

There will be an opportunity to take part in a "mock" Family Group Conference.

Audience: Staff who work with children young people and families.
