Family Group Conference
Course Description:
An interactive course for participants who would like to know more about the principles and practice of Family Group Conferencing including-
- Partnership working with children, parents, families and other agencies.
- What is Family Group Conferencing?
- Research, legislation and policy framework in relation to FGC's
- Roles and responsibilities of attendees
- The use of advocates
- Safe planning for children and young people
There will be an opportunity to take part in a "mock" Family Group Conference.
Audience: Staff who work with children young people and families.
