The Department continues to support staff to achieve the relevant qualifications for their posts in line with National Minimum care Standards.
Please note that this year, 2012 – 2013, the process to request support for qualifications has been changed. This is to ensure that any requests directly meet the needs of the Service Area.
If you would like to be supported in undertaking a qualification to enhance the delivery of your service then this must be identified through supervision / appraisal directly with your manager, who will then take this to the Senior Management Team.
The Senior Management Team will then co-ordinate as part of the service planning process and inform Workforce Development, who is to be supported and for which qualification.
Some of the qualifications and awards identified here are delivered in house, via the joint Bradford Assessment centre and others are commissioned from external providers.
