Solution Focused Approaches - An Introduction
This course is aimed at practitioners that wish to develop their understanding of Solution Focused Approaches and learn how to embed the approach into their own working practice. This course will be of particular interest to practitioners who work with service users who experience loss and bereavement or need to change aspects of their lives.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the course you will understand:
- The assumptions that underpin the Solution Focused Approach.
- How to identify strengths and resources
- How to apply methods like the ‘Miracle Question’ to help find out what the young person wants.
- How the principles of ‘Scaling’ support the framework of the Solution Focused Approach.
This training is for experienced practitioners.
