Preventing and Handling Violence and Aggression (Conflict Resolution)
Audience: People who work in a Bradford Council Adult Social Care Setting who as part of their role come into contact with potentially volatile people.
Learning Objectives:
To provide Trainees with a knowledge of:
- Recognising different levels of agitation;
- Knowing how to present themselves in a potentially volatile situation;
- Knowing how to attempt to de-escalate the situation and deal with it appropriately;
- Their own safety and at which stage is appropriate to remove themselves from the potentially volatile situation
