Objectives:

To provide staff with sufficient skills and knowledge to implement a robust risk assessment process.
Improve awareness of current legislation.
Enhance existing abilities to address manual handling issues arising in their working environments.
To improve awareness of biomechanics and causes of back pain. Consider the impact of Ergonomic interventions in relation to risk assessments and problem solving.
Provide staff with sufficient skills and knowledge to perform good manual handling practice with the ability to share that information.

Aimed at: Bradford MDC Social Care - Registered Managers, Home Care Managers & Seniors and all staff who undertake risk assessing.
