Induction - Adult & Community Services
A good induction is essential in helping new employees, whatever their role, to work effectively to improve outcomes for Older People.
The two workbooks below have been developed to provide a consistent induction process for all new employees in Adult Services.
Both are designed to be downloaded, saved to file and accessed via a computer as they contain hyperlinks to live information.

They workbooks are aimed at:
- All front line care staff who do not already have a comprehensive induction programme
- All new managers
- All admin support and specialist staff
- Agency staff as appropriate
Employees and their line managers are jointly responsible for ensuring the whole induction process, including these workbooks, meets the particular needs of each new starter.
