This course is for Adult & Community Services staff within Adults Access, Assessment and Support Team, Physical Disabilities and the Sensory Needs Team i.e. Social Workers, Community Care Officers assessing carers needs.

Aim:

Identify outcome focused assessments for carers
To have greater awareness about the stages of caring
To understand the legal framework for carers
To have greater awareness and understanding of local resources, in order to sign post carers to appropriate agencies
To promote access to Education, training, employment and leisure services
