Aims:

To understand the purpose of case recording.
To be able to identify what are the key issues and events we need to record.
Understand the principles of good record keeping and report writing.
Understand why recording of equalities data is required.
Understand the organisation's policies and procedures.
To be aware of the Data Protection Act 1998 and Freedom of Information Act 2000 and how these affect what we write.
