Faith and Belief e-Learning
This module is intended to be a basic introduction to different religions. Religions can be complex and this guide is not intended to be a definitive guide to different religions, but a useful tool for staff in their day to day work.
By the end of this short course you will be able to:
- Demonstrate an awareness of the variety of religious beliefs and cultural practices amongst different communities
- Identify the principle festivals of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Islam and Sikhism
- Recognise the features of the main life events of each of the religions covered
These packages can be accessed via any computer that has broadband internet access. You can dip in and out of the modules and your progress will be saved by the system. Upon full completion of the training you will be prompted to print a certificate. Workforce Development will monitor completions.
To gain access to the e-learning you will require a username and password which will be issued by Workforce Development. You need to seek the permission of your line manager before requesting access to this training.
