Work-Able
Our employment and training service for people with disabilities and ill health has over 13 years experience of placing people into jobs with local employers.
Work-Able has bases in Bradford and Keighley.
Work-Able’s job-focused services are available to all disabled people of working age. Attendance is voluntary and will not affect your benefits. You choose when to join or leave and we operate within flexible hours to suit your needs.
Our specialist employment officers will support you in personal job search, help you find a work placement or work tasters. You will also get help to match your skills to the right job and support, if you need it, whilst at work, until you gain the confidence and skills to go it alone.
Work-Able offers in-house training in IT skills, job search, basic skills and work related skills. We also link with lots of other training centres where you can improve your skills for work.
Work-Able services are available to most disabled people of working age and we can work with you whatever your disability. However, some programmes are tailored to meet specific needs and have entry requirements.
