Who is it for?
Anyone living in the Bradford Metropolitan District who is experiencing difficulties due to Visual Impairment
What will we do?
- Offer advice and information
- Assess need (the outcome of assessment may include the following)
- provide information
- offer advice
- provide support
- provide equipment
- provide mobility training
- support Independent Living Skills (ILS) training
- Register Visual Impairment
- Demonstrate Specialist Equipment
- BSL Interpreting Services
- Mail Reading Service
- Palantypist and Note taking
- Guide Support Service (following assessment)
- supporting people with both sight and hearing loss to maintain independence through a period of short term intense support followed by training and advice for others who would be involved in longer term support

- Signposting to other organisations

There are varying charges dependent on which Group you join.

This will be determined following a financial assessment.
