What is the Occupational Therapy Service?

We can help you with your practical difficulties by providing equipment, making adaptations to your home or by problem solving. This would be useful if you have trouble using the toilet or going up and down stairs for example.

When is the Occupational Therapy Service open?

Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm (4.30pm on Fridays)

We have offices across Bradford district.

Call the Central Access Team on 01274 435100.

Who provides it?

Bradford Council and partner health services - we employ Occupational Therapists.

How can we help?

When you call our Central Access Team we will discuss your difficulties and find the best way to deal with them.

Possible outcomes may be an assessment, contacting health colleagues for some rehabilitation, or signposting you to where you can resolve your difficulty yourself.

Is there a charge?

The assessment is free of charge.

Equipment is usually loaned free of charge.
