Children in Care Council
The Children in Care Council is a body of young people who are in care or are care leavers who endeavour to represent their peers in talks with the people who make decisions about their lives. The CICC meet weekly to discuss relevant issues, and quarterly with the Director, assistant Director and Lead Member of Bradford Council. They also take part in discussions at a Regional and National level.
Another function of the CICC is to organise events where the wider opinion of Looked After young people is sought.
