Free School Meals & School Clothing Allowance
Free School Meals and School Clothing Allowance are available to children of parents/guardians who live in the Bradford Metropolitan District area, attend a council nursery or school full time and get one of the following:
- Income Support
- Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
- Pension Credit (Guarantee Credit)
- Child Tax Credit (but not Working Tax Credit) with an annual income (as assessed by HM Revenue & Customs) of less than £16,190
- Support from NASS under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
Even if you do not qualify for Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax Benefit you can still claim.

Even if you do not qualify for Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax Benefit you can still claim. Vouchers for School Clothing Allowance are payable once a year and each voucher is worth £26.00.
Your entitlement to Free School Meals and School Clothing Allowance may stop if your circumstances change.
