Supporting People Regional
The Supporting People Regional Housing Support Group (SPRHSG) operates across the boundaries that make up the Yorkshire and Humberside region. This takes in all SP Administering Authorities (AA’s), which fall within that area, irrespective of district and county structures. We work together with partners including the Yorkshire and Humber Government Office, Department of Communities and Local Government, provider sector and national housing federation. Our aim is to:
- Providing housing related support services for vulnerable people across the region.
- The delivery of high quality, co-ordinated housing support services, strategically planned where-ever possible.
- Aiming for equitable service delivery and access for users across the region with the intention of developing baseline standards for services wherever feasible.
- Developing a consistent approach to SP implementation across the region.
- Ensuring service users are central to the programme.
- Ensuring that the framework for delivering housing support is a working partnership between providers, strategy makers and key agencies and service users.
- At all times working in the spirit of partnership and co-operation with one another as Administering Authorities (AA’s).
- Ensuring that in our dealings we are open and honest, fostering a working environment that is transparent and understandable to others, with particular reference to service users regionally.
