Valentine treats galore

If you're looking for that special romantic present for your loved one in the lead-up to 14 February try strolling round the Valentines market in Bradford city centre.

Over fifty stalls will display a wide variety of goods in Darley Street from luxury chocolates to jewellery and from arts and crafts to fresh flowers on 9, 10 and 11 February.

Coun David Green said: "This is the ideal place to find irresistible treats for that special day.

"This is the fourth year we have run a Valentines market and they have proved very popular in the past with thousands flocking to the stalls.

"Markets create a buzz and entice more shoppers into the city centre and I would encourage visitors to pop into the surrounding shops as well."

Many traders are from the local area and some are from Europe - for instance there will be a Polish bar. The opening times are from 9am to 5pm.
