Shipley’s Christmas craft and produce market
More than 50 traders are expected at Shipley’s annual Christmas craft and produce market.
Stalls will be open in Market Square and Well Croft on Friday and Saturday (9 and 10 December) from 9am-5pm during the Bradford Council-run event.
Traders will sell a wide range of speciality food and drink including savoury pies, marmalades and pickles. There will also be some of the best in Fairtrade produce and local arts and crafts such as wooden toys and games, natural homemade soaps, and silver and crystal jewellery.
Other attractions include live street music from The Legendary Shep’s Banjo Boys (between 11am-4pm) and Marshall’s small fairground attractions (between 10am-5pm).
Visitors will also be able to browse for gifts and foodstuffs in the broad range of shops, cafes and bars based in the town.
Coun David Green, Bradford Council’s Executive Member for Regeneration and Economy, said: "There will be a great selection of stalls and attractions at Shipley’s annual Christmas market and it should be a fantastic weekend for families.
"I hope that people from across the district will come along to pick up some unique gifts and to enjoy the activities on offer.”
