Free open day at Keighley Leisure Centre

The day will kick off with a trilogy of FX sessions in Jump, which is a no-nonsense aerobic and interval training class; Pump, which is a barbell class that uses a variety of weight-room exercises; and step which is a basic step athletic routine. These will run between 9.40-12.20pm.
There will be also be sampler classes in Step aerobics (between 11-11.30am); Zumba (between 11.40am-12.10pm), and yoga (between 12.20-12.50pm).
People will also be able to take regular guided tours around the facilities and Clubactive gym. This has 60 pieces of equipment - including rowers, cross-trainers and cycles – as well as offering an Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) that has significantly improved access for people with disabilities or mobility problems.
In addition, people can take advantage of a sauna and steam room, which is located at the swimming pool side of the complex, and a café on the ground floor.
Coun Andrew Thornton, Bradford Council’s Executive Member responsible for Sport and Leisure, said: "This open day is a great way for people to see the state-of-the-art facilities at the Leisure Centre, to sample some of the classes that regularly run there, and to encourage them to take more exercise, more often."
