Extra planning consultation events confirmed
Dates for additional public consultation events on an important part of Bradford Council’s planning strategy have been confirmed.
The authority will hold drop-in events in Bingley on Tuesday, 17 January, and Queensbury on Wednesday, 18 January, to discuss the draft Core Strategy element of the Local Development Framework (LDF).
Additional meetings are also being arranged specifically for parish council representatives.
As required by law, Bradford Council is creating a Local Development Framework which will set out the guidelines for development in the Bradford district until 2028.
Part of the LDF includes the Core Strategy which will give the broad policies that determine future use of land for housing, employment, health and wellbeing, education, leisure, transport and infrastructure purposes.
Consultation responses received by the end of February will also be considered, though people are still urged to give their views as quickly as possible within the formal consultation deadline of 20 January.
The Bingley event will take place from 4pm to 7pm at Cardigan House in Ferncliffe Road (BD16 2TA) and the Queensbury event will take place from 4pm to 7pm at Victoria Hall Children’s Centre in Station Road (BD13 1AB).
