Community Strategy 2011-2014
Plans for the Bradford district over the next three years will go before a meeting of the Council's Executive on Thursday 16 December.
The Community Strategy 2012-2014 is a guide for the Council and its partners to plan and deliver for the district's residents.
Priorities to transform the district are regenerating the city centre; raising educational attainment and equipping people with skills for work.
Issues that need addressing are ensuring there is sufficient housing; getting more people involved in their communities and tackling poverty, deprivation and inequality.
Bradford Council leader Coun Ian Greenwood, said: "There is no question that the commitment of partners to working together is more important than ever given the significant challenges that we face."
"No one should underestimate the scale of those challenges but the strategy makes clear the determination, across all sectors, to ensure that we shape our own future.
"The ultimate goal is to to help build and sustain prosperous and confident communities across the District and with collective will, hard graft and enterprise I am certain that we can achieve those goals."
The Executive will be asked to recommend the report to full Council. The report will be presented to the Corporate Overview and Scrutiny meeting on Tuesday, 6 December.
