Baby club event in Shipley

Parents in Shipley are invited to find out what is on offer for them at a special event next month.

The Baby Club event at Windhill Community Centre is on Monday, 6 February from 10am until 11.30am.

Parents and carers of babies can meet the workers from the local children's centre, community centre staff and other parents. They can find out about the services they can access such as a home safety assessment, breastfeeding support and many more.

Refreshments will be available and there will be creche facilities for children aged five and under.

Every month at the Baby Club the health visitor will discuss topics such as weaning and sleep problems.

Coun Ralph Berry, Bradford Council's Executive Member for Children and Young People's Services, said: "This centre like so many others offers a wide range of services for local people and events such as this are a great way for people to find out more and become involved in their local community."
