JobCentre Plus
The service gives information and advice to customers of working age:
- To provide proof of income
- To help customers find a job
- About local and national job vacancies
- About other opportunities such as training
- On starting own business
- On Jobcentre Plus programmes, New Deal and Jobseekers Direct
- About financial help if working
- To make sure customers are aware of all the benefits available to them
At local offices such as the bdirect customer service centre in Centenary Court, Bradford, the service will also help customers to fill in forms for Jobcentre Plus, contact employers on behalf of the customer and signpost extra help.
